Wild & Stone’s organic cotton hand towels are the perfect sustainable addition to your home; they’re highly absorbent, soft, and kind to skin, so ideal for drying your hands or drying plates.
Once you’re done with these eco-friendly hand towels, cut them into strips and place them in your compost bin. They're made from 100% organic cotton, and so are completely biodegradable.
Organic cotton hand towels are a sustainable alternative to plastic microfibre towels. These release millions of microfibres every time you wash them, which end up in our waterways and oceans.
Our hand towels are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, certified to OEKO TEX Standard 100. This means that the dyes used to make the towels are free from harmful substances.
Cotton hand towels are more eco-friendly than microfibre towels as they are plastic-free and biodegradable and naturally antimicrobial. Organic cotton is an even more sustainable option because it means the cotton was grown without the use of harmful pesticides. Find out more about organic cotton.
Throw your hand towel in the washing machine on a hot wash. You can put your towels into the tumble dryer but avoid fabric softener as it will reduce their absorbency. If your hand towel has a smell, soak it in warm water with vinegar before you wash it. Learn more in our guide to washing tea towels properly.
