Bamboo is one of the most sustainable products on earth, thanks to the fact that bamboo is a fast-growing plant. When these baby bamboo toothbrushes reach the end of their life, they can either be recycled or composted - returning to the earth.

Our business was first formed on our range of bamboo toothbrushes - which we realised could make a massive difference to the health of our planet.

When should a baby start using a toothbrush?

It is recommended you start cleaning your baby’s teeth when they start to appear, this will be around 6 months of age. Cleaning your baby’s teeth removes plaque build-up that causes tooth decay, you should do this with a soft toothbrush.

What toothbrush is best for babies?

You should choose a toothbrush that is specifically designed for babies, these have a small head and soft bristles. Bamboo baby toothbrushes are the best option for the environmentally conscious.

How many times do you brush a baby's teeth?

As soon as your baby’s teeth begin to appear above the gum line it is recommended you brush their teeth twice a day. The nightly brush should be just after they finish their last meal to avoid food or milk sitting in their mouth overnight.

How often should children's toothbrushes be changed?

As with adult toothbrushes you need to replace your child’s toothbrush every 3 months. We recommend a bamboo toothbrush subscription to ensure you never forget to do so.

Why do you see bristles falling out more on Eco Toothbrushes?

Every so often you may see bristles fall out of your eco toothbrush, this is because the bristles are meant to be removed when the product is recycled and are not glued. The handle is carved from a single piece of bamboo, and the nylon bristles are then attached to the bamboo.
