Our range of baby suction plates and bowls are made from all-natural, fairtrade bamboo and high quality, food-grade silicone that is free from BPA and other toxins. Bamboo is an incredibly fast-growing resource, reaching maturity in only 5 years, making it a sustainable product that is safe for both you, your family and the environment.

We understand parents need baby tableware that is not only practical but safe too. Traditional baby plates are made from plastics full of BPA, BPS, Phthalates and a whole host of other nasties you want to keep away from your little ones, rather bamboo baby plates are the answer.

All our baby bowls and baby spoons are made to be incredibly long-lasting. Wild & Stone have created a product that will grow with your baby as they transition from infant to toddler, and toddler to child. We believe our products are strong enough to last a lifetime, across all siblings, and even into different generations.

When you start the weaning process your little one is often tempted to play with their bowl, leaving your kitchen a mess, that’s why our baby weaning sets come with a silicone suction base to stick the bowl to the table or high chair and keep it there. When your little one, thankfully, grows out of this phase the silicone is removable to allow more independence and regular use.

Are bamboo plates hygienic?

Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and microbial which often makes them the most hygienic choice for your little ones.

How do you clean a bamboo plate?

Due to bamboo’s antibacterial properties, bamboo plates and bowls are incredibly easy to clean. Warm, soapy water is all you need to wash a bamboo plate, but for an extra clean you can soak them in a mixture of lemon juice and hot water for 10 to 15 minutes before washing.

How do you look after bamboo plates?

You should avoid leaving your bamboo plates and bowls soaking in water as this may encourage mildew, similarly, you should remove any silicone rings when drying your product so it can be dried in full.

To extend the lifetime of bamboo bowls you should oil them periodically to keep the wood supple and moisturised.

Are bamboo plates safe for babies?

Bamboo plates and bamboo bowls are often the safest options for babies and toddlers as they do not require the same harmful chemicals used in plastic plate production. Instead, they are crafted from natural, organic, plant-based materials rather than petroleum-based plastics. These bamboo products are BPA, BPS, Phthalates and PFAS free!
