What are reusable straws made of?

Most reusable straws are made of food-grade stainless steel; this material doesn’t rust like other metals and won't break, meaning your straw will last a long time. You can also find reusable drinking straws made from silicone or bamboo. They are similar to conventional straws in thickness, length, and general mouthfeel.

How to clean inside reusable straws?

Rinse the inside of the straw as soon as you're done using it, if possible, to prevent things from hardening in there. Let the water flow through a few times. Soak your straw brush in dish soap before pushing it into your straw and vigorously scrubbing it. Repeat with the other end of the straw. Don't forget to wipe the straw's openings and outsides. After you've finished cleaning, run the straw under hot water for another minute to get rid of any leftover soap.

How to clean reusable straws without pipe cleaner/straw cleaner?

Soak the straw in warm, soapy water. Depending on how thoroughly it needs to be cleaned, you can soak it for a few minutes or several hours. After it's been soaking for a while, rinse it out with hot water to release any particles that may have gotten lodged within.

Are reusable straws safe?

Reusable straws are not only environmentally friendly, but they are also far safer than plastic straws. Metal, bamboo, and silicone are the most frequent materials used in these guilt-free straws. They don't pile up in our landfills and hurt our beloved planet because they're all reusable. They are also free of dangerous substances that could endanger our health.
