At Wild & Stone, our business was born out of the problems that exist with plastic toothbrushes - and the unsustainable way they are used and discarded. We have designed a fantastic range of Bamboo Toothbrushes, which provide an eco-friendly toothbrush and alternative to using plastic.

The bamboo used to make these toothbrushes is FSC® 100% certified. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth, meaning there is a sustainable supply of bamboo - and it’s also completely biodegradable, meaning that it can be composted or recycled at the end of its life. The bristles used on our toothbrushes are also made from BPA free nylon - which is not only vegan, but is also more gentle on the teeth and gums than traditional plastic bristles.

Our Medium Bamboo Toothbrushes are ideal for use at home, as well as when travelling - all of our bamboo toothbrushes are individually patterned so they do not get mixed up - and all have gained five star reviews from our customers.

Our factory is based in the coastal province of Jiangsu, China, north of Shanghai.

The minimum wage in this province is 2500 RMB. Our workers are paid 4500 RMB.

Our team operate under safe working conditions and are free to join unions.

The MOSO Bamboo we use is FSC® certified and produced causing minimal harm to the environment.

Our bamboo toothbrushes are packaged in fully recyclable, plastic-free packaging.

We use sea shipments for all of our products to achieve the lowest carbon footprint.

Over 260 million plastic toothbrushes are thrown away each year in the UK alone.

Our toothbrush handles are made from bamboo and will biodegrade.

A percentage of your purchase is donated to the Marine Conservation Society.

Lovely toothbrushes

So happy to have made the switch to bamboo toothbrushes, and these were a great choice. I love the attractive designs. They are easy to hold, comfortable to use and much better value than many I've seen. The only thing I'd do differently next time is to consider trying some with firm bristles as I found these a bit softer than the medium-bristled plastic brushes I was using previously.

An Easy Step

Bamboo toothbrushes, simple shape, handle comfortably, flexible bristles, no fancy shaping or unnecessary colour -- all you need at a good basic price. Makes me feel annoyed at all the fancy plastic brushes I have used over the years.
